I've seen some past threads about people getting billed because they didn't give proper notice when leaving, so I thought I'd ask here. My understanding is that 30 days notice is required and I couldn't find anything on my account page about whether I was still in contract or not.
How can I tell when is the end of my contract period?
I couldn't find it on my bill, but I checked my old e-mails.
Order confirmation e-mail: Fri 22/07/2011 2:38 p.m.
-- "Thanks for choosing us! We’ve got your order for Orcon @ Home and we’re working on it."
Orcon Order Update e-mail: Fri 29/07/2011 2:15 p.m.
-- "We've made the plan changes that you asked for."
The contract for Orcon@Home is 12 months, so assuming I give proper notice, is the end of my contract, 22/07/2012 (12 months after Orcon accepted my order), or 29/07/2012 (12 months after they made the changes), or perhaps some other date?
I assume the end date does not have to be on a full number of billing cycles, and can I make my leaving date part way through a billing cycle (as long as I have given proper notice)?
