I will see how smooth the switch is over the next week or two as I have been told it could take up to 10 working days.  I hope it's quicker than that.

I will share with you my experience with Snap once up and running.

I have signed up for the 255gb data+landline package @ $115/month

Thanks for the word of warning on that. I'm moving into a new flat in a week and a half and I can't have the connection set up before that because the existing tenant is still there, but it sounds like I should give Snap a call tomorrow and get myself in the queue if I want to be connected as soon as I move in.

First update :

Just got a text message from Snap to advise the new connection has been booked for 25/07, exactly five working days from yesterday when I signed up

My Vodafone billing due on 25th of each month so this works out quite well for me.

I've also just switched to snap; been on my new connection for a couple of days now... very pleased so far! Had a couple of dealings with their help desk and also very impressed with them, very friendly and helpful. Now just waiting on a Fritzbox so I can get onto VDSL; should be within the next 1-2 weeks I believe :)

I also switched to snap recently for VDSL,

Cant complain about the service, received modem the next day and it was connected on the date specified

I had one issue which I don't think was their fault, it suddenly stopped working. I could sync but it refused to authenticate
They got Chorus to fix what they had to do and I was up and running the following day

Both times I have called the help desk they have answered within 30 seconds

Hi Ralph, thanks for the update; I did get a text msg advising of the completion while I was at work.

Just got home; did the set-up in 1 minute and now all up and running

I have my PC in the lounge while my wireless modem/router is in the hallway. I have got two laptops, 2 iPhones, one iPad 2 and 1 ipod touch in the same wifi network. I use two cordless phone at home with a filter at the jackport. I don't have Master Splitter installed

Speed wise, pretty much similar to what I used to have from VF at this time of the day. Currently downloading at around 700-800kb/s

I am not a gamer so uploading doesn't really matter to me

Youtube on both PC and iPhone work both fine;

Also did a speed test with the below results:

Pretty happy so far; more to follow...
