I find snap's customer service to be excellent and I particularly like the level of presence they have on the Internet.  However, what would be really great is if they had a web chat feature on their main site so that we could chat with customer services that way.

I find web chat to be very quick and convenient and a much more efficient communication method than using the phone (SO 20th century!! Laughing)

Totally agree.  That would be awesome.

We think you should move to Christchurch Sam :P

The only issue with having a web chat feature would be having someone to man it most of the time.
Most of us that are on the social media front are either engineers, techs etc in one or another department so we try our hardest to keep an eye on things :)

some use twitter instead. Webchat is ok, but the person at the other end may not be able to answer the question straight away, and the medium almost requires immediate answers. Often comapnies will use livechat for sales, but not support.

Yeah fair call, I'd rather speak to a tech on the phone than a non-technical person on webchat!

I got my vdsl looked at over twitter. That seems to work perfectly for things like that.
