Hey anyone at orcon able to add some way for us command line guys to do a speedtest to speedtest.orcon.net.nz?

At the very least could you put some various-sized random-filled files to download?

Bonus points for an ftp server to upload to to test upload speed as well or something similar?

try: http://speedtest.orcon.net.nz/speedtest/random4000x4000.jpg?

With linux you can use curl or axel

no idea about the upload thing.. but random4000x4000 works on most speed test servers.

If you want something a little larger then you can download a linux ISO form here:
http://games.orcon.net.nz/files/ubuntu/

This is in the ozone as well so wont come off your cap.

Sorry it really is a linux ISO though..
