Shouldn't it go forward?

Yes, yes it should.

What time are you trying to change?  On the modem web interface or the handset?

There's a checkbox for Daylight Savings, but probably the 1100 firmware has outdated DS information.

A lot of the GeniusLite modems on version 1100 won't upgrade and you can't download the firmware anymore anyway.  We are working on rolling out an upgrade to these devices in the next month or two.

You might have to just adjust your time based rules and/or ignore the time on the router for now ;)
