Several people have reported that Kies throws a warning: "Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies". I also get this with my 2D SGS3. (See: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=97&topicid=98224&page_no=264 )

Can 2Degrees advise why this is happening? When Jellybean is released those of us who have this issue are not going to be able to upgrade via Kies (which may be necessary if OTA doesn't work). What must be done to fix this? It's only happening on my Kies with 2Degree branded phones.

I get the same message - phone bought from 2degrees, never been rooted.

I used Kies to update the phone when that minor update was released a couple months back, but since then this message has come up every time the phone is connected to Kies.

Since it doesn't check for updates since that message first came up, how will Kies know there is an update?

I get pre-release updates for my handset and it shows up all the time, When that update is released to the public it does not show anymore
