Hello all,

Any thoughts, theories, or even explanations why Slingshot Mobile data is so expensive compared to fellow discount telco 2degrees (in zone)? I like to deal with one telco, but currently have home/landline phone and internet with Slingshot and mobile services with 2degrees.

Cheers,
Paul

You have answered your own question.
Its cheaper (in zone).

In Zone is the 2 degrees network - they can charge what they like - out of zone they have to buy from Vodafone - Slingshot have to buy from Vodafone for all their data because they have no network.

Hey

Yes we have no network, we run of telecoms network.

Our data packs are as best as we can provide at the moment.

Mobile is something Slingshot is fairly new to, earlier in the year we migrated all our existing customers to the telecom network from vodafone, we are only just now pushing plans and smartphones deals.

Im sure our marketing team will get some better deals out for mobile data in the near future to build our mobile side up. Our plans are always changing and improving.

Regards
Mike
