Can't find a definative answer on this - do Orcon offer Annex M on their LLU gear? And presumably like other LLU providers they run a 6db noise margin, hence a higher sync rate on stable connections?

The faster upload is something that I really miss from Slingshot, so I'll push them to push me onto LLU if they do (they recently put gear in my exchange afaik)

And slightly off topic (can you go off topic in the OP?) in case someone from Orcon replies - if I plug a USB 3G modem into my Orcon Genius, will this carry Genius VOIP traffic? I mean is it blocked or not, not whether it will be good or not)

I can only answer the second part of your question and the answer is "no". Orcon Genius is privately addressed and only available from an Orcon DSL connection.

We don't currently support Annex-M sorry, but something we are looking into.

Out of curiosity do you know if there's been much pushing for Chorus to allow Annex-M on cabinets?  It seems their gear should support it, and LLU isn't available to a lot of users anyway.

Can you push Chorus to do anything? :-)
