My wife is using a 2d microsim for her iPad but I might give her a pocket wifi so we can share the connection. The pocket wifi use normal sim. I have an inactive 2d normal sim laying around, can I ask 2d to swap the connection from the microsim to the normal sim?
Thanks

Yes go into a 2Degrees store buy a blank sim and get them to load your old sim number to that one.

if it is already deactivated/expired then you will need a whole new SIM - 2D do not recycle old SIMs

Hi,

As Vita explains if the normal SIM hasn't been topped up in over 395 days (credit expires after 365 days you then have 30 days to top-up before the SIM/number is deactivated).

Cheers

Unfortunately absolutely no way of re using them, I had to throw out about 50 2deg sims myself.

Anyone know if vodafone ones can be reused? I know telecom ones can.

Thank you all for your help.

It is pretty sad that I cannot reuse those SIM cards. They are in good condition so it is such a waste they end up in landfill.

What is more annoying is that new ones also expire and have no date printed on the outside.

I remember when that happened to me with some vodafone ones I got replacements out of them when I complained.
