I was told by a support person the other day that Slingshot is offering 6 month contracts for naked unlimited  I called back to join on this basis only to be told that the deal was only for students. Has anyone (not a student) managed to negotiate a 6 month term?

I am wary about going into a unlimited account for longer in case the performance is not acceptable.

Hey Paul,

The 6 months is only for students however the contract is for services, not plans, so you can change plan within your 12 month contract without any changes to your contract.

That being said if you go for Naked there are only the 2 plans available without adding homeline (additional cost and contract change), if you get homeline and broadband on the unlimited plan you have more options to change to.

Cheers,
Joe.
