I am currently subscribed to telecom ADSL. I was thinking about changing to Snap VDSL until I can connect to Snap UFB.

I already have a master splitter installed at my house which was installed when I ordered ADSL. Would the existing master splitter be compatible with VDSL?

If not possible, I was wondering if already having an ADSL master filter would make it cheaper/easier to install a vdsl master filter (my house is 5 years old).

And, if I terminate Snap VDSL and subsequently connect to Snap UFB, would I still be charged for the VDSL early termination fee ?

I don't think you would pay an early termination fee if you keep your services with snap!
Also, what are your current modem/dsl stats like now. Just to gauge what sort of speed upgrades vdsl would give you

Firstly we would certainty welcome you to becoming a Snap UFB/VDSL customer.

Will you keep the POTS service or move your voice onto Snap Plus? if you are moving your voice away we can always move you without you installing a VDSL2 filter, the best way to achieve this is to remove all the other lines in your house so that the wiring is coming in straight from the road and into the DSL router. (to prevent Bridge Taps) If you want you can also reticulate the other jackpoints in your house from the ATA ports on the back of the Fritz Box. We can also request for Chorus to come back out and perform a wiring installation after the upgrade to VDSL if it becomes an issue.

Also for any Snap customer in a contract, upgrading to UFB will not void that contract, however there may be a new contract timeframe for the UFB service.

My current stats ...(adsl is good, so I assume vdsl should be good too)....

You've got a really low attenuation there you should see max speeds from VDSL I had 2.5 on ADSL and went up to 4 on VDSL, 50mbit down and 10 up. There's definitely potential for you to be switched to 17a also if your line remains stable, where you may get around 70mbit down.

Snap plus is OK, this is plain voip as I understand. And, I can connect to the fritz using dect handsets ( I think?).

I have a structured cabling system with cat6 fed back to a central cabinet. There are only rj45's with one cabled back at the central cabinet to be a phone jack.

There is an alarm control board in the central network cabinet which is not monitored but phones out on alarm events. Maybe the alarm can be plugged directly into the fritzbox for phone outs? I'm a newbie on this.

This would be pretty straight forward using the Fritz then for phone and use you can use it for a Dect Base Station but I wouldn't bother in a cabled house as you have to get the right kind and you could just use the ATA ports anyway then use whatever phone you want. The alarm should work but I have heard mixed results with alarms and ATA plus it wouldn't work if the power was down.
