Hi everyone

Seems to be a knowledgable place so thought id have a go at asking here.

I have a vodafone r205 wifi router and I'm trying to setup my 2degrees sim so I can get on
To the internet.

I have the router setup and my tablet reads it and is connected with it, but when I click on browser it automatically
redirects to the routers homepage.

It doesn't read the sim so won't let me connect to 2degrees.

Does anyone have any experience with this device?

When you are on the router's home page, try logon as admin. Then go to the Mobile Broadband page, then the Connection page.

Change Account Type to "Custom".

Under APN, enter internet
Under Number, enter *99#

Save and exit.

This should make it work.

=-)

edit: Or, follow the directions above... You know, I never actually made the mental connection that "Number" was a number to dial, until now. Either way, '0' works for XT at least.

I have an R205 sitting next to me with an XT SIM in it.

You will need to configure the APN to use via the device's web interface. As a guide, this is what you need to set for Telecom.

Perfect works now.

Changed the apn and used 99# as number as my tablet doesn't have the star symbol

Its good to be on the net with a decent phone company:-)

The * sign will be in the numeric part of the keyboard.
