For the last month Ive been experiencing disconnects every night at 11:30 plus many other disconnects throughout the night. I've called up orcon many times and all they tell me to do is reset my router and do a factory reset which ive done 3 times now with no positive outcome. Can someone from Orcon please help me resolve this problem.

Do you have a house alarm?

Have you done any other basic fault checking on your side like an isolation test?

Have you got a master filter on the line coming into the house?

Search Geekzone for posts by Peter Reader to be honest I don't think this is a Orcon issue

I do have a house alarm although it isnt monitored, I've done isolation tests and Im not sure on the master filter. I've been with orcon for over a year now but I've only started having problems since last month.

Have you got a master splitter on the house alarm? The alarm does not need to be monitored for it to try and grab the line

BTW: If its not something wrong on your end, you can try to contact socialmedia@team.orcon.net.nz - thats the address Orcon usually asks people to contact when they have problems.

Its social media now you know. It seems like the new currency is social spread. The more people can see your troubles, the more likely it is you will get help...
