Possibly the wrong category but here goes. I purchased a Galaxy S3 from the 2degreesmobile.co.nz site and it was due to be sent via courier, I live in a rural delivery area, so generally I'll expect that this will take a day or two longer like all online orders. However I've been checking the Track IT link I was given for NZ Couriers, and it seems it's been signed by a 'rd5' which I'm guessing means it's been handed to the rural postie for delivery tomorrow, the issue here is I'm actually R.D. 1, which I specified when I made the order. Also, if the courier is being paid money to deliver the goods, shouldn't they follow through with the deliver rather than just handing it off? Not that I don't trust the postie or anything, he's a good guy, but he's not being paid a premium to get the phone to me in one piece.

Hi Tim I would query with NZC along with your tracking number. Good luck.

As it happens I got an email from NZ Couriers this afternoon asking if I'd received the parcel, when I replied saying I hadn't got it yet I got an email back saying it had been passed on to rural delivery and I should get it either tomorrow or Friday.

Hi, I've got NZ Couriers onto it today as it still hasn't turned up. If I haven't heard or seen anything by Monday I'll let you know if I would like your help. Thanks :)

Finally got some answers today. It was given to the right postie, but had the wrong RD number on it. Daft really when the difference between RD1 and RD5 is about a kilometre on the same short stretch of road and they deliver my mail every day. Hopefully it'll arive tomorrow.

Yeah I did, but not really too fussed about it to be fair :P

I'm upgrading from a Galaxy Y to an S3 so the jump is massive and really, I don't think I could handle an S4 just yet ;)

Yep it finally arrived this morning. Just having my first play around with it now. Massive improvement over the Galaxy Y that's for sure.
