Im new to Orcon's fibre network, just been connected today, and i read on the modem box that the genius lite has dect support?

Heres a picture of it.
Whats your thoughts on it? has the station got DECT and GAP but not enabled on the webinterface?

If you look at your Genius configuration page (10.1.1.1 in the address bar should get you there) item 4 on the front page is your device firmware version.  If that includes LITE then you definitely have the Genius LITE - which has NO DECT capabilities.  See http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=82&topicid=116066 for a previous discussion on this subject.

Possibly a FULL box with a LITE inside, the unit is refurbished and possibly a new Full box has been used, the REGENUISLITEUFB label with the serial and mac address is Orcon labelling, not the manufacturers.

As long as you have the right unit in the box (type and mac address), you are good to go.
