I have been using an imported Huawei B683 wireless gateway to provide internet connectivity using a Vodafone SIM card. Wanting to switch to 2 Degrees as my provider, I thought that simply swapping for an activated 2 Degrees SIM card would do the trick. Not so...

I can log on to the B683 using 802.11 Wi-fi and using the diagnostics I can see that the whilst it can "see" a 2 Degrees cell site, it is failing to authenticate ad has no IP address etc.

I confess that I am a complete nooby with 3G so I'm probably missing something simple. Any help or suggestions gratefully received

Have you put the correct APN for 2degrees (internet)?

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

No, I have not done that. I didn't do this for Vodafone, so I'll need to explore the interface for the device to establish whether I can enter this directly
