Hi All,

Currently looking to port my number to 2talk from Orcon.
Still on contract, but has anyone done this while still on contract?
I'm assuming that the Orcon Genius is a bundle, so they may not allow me to port until my contract has finished?

Being on a contract is not a reason to reject a number port. One would assume however that Orcon would probably take a port out as a cessation of service and you'll be liable for any ETC that may apply.

Thanks, well I'll await for Orcons answer. I'm just keen to port to 2talk prior to cancelling service as I'm keen to move to a naked VDSL provider.

We won't stop a number from being ported because you're under contract, but as mentioned above you'll need to pay for the early termination fee. Give the chaps a call on 0800 13 14 15 and they can run you through it.
