Small question, just recently had VDSL installed, connection seems to be good but the internet light on the modem isn't lit. Nothing major just wondering if it maybe means something.
Cheers

ChrisNZL: In the FritzBox admin page (eg 192.168.178.1) go to System > Info Display, and on the drop-down menu, select "Internet connection is active - LED lights up".
MWadman: The Internet light on the Fritz Box is not actually a Internet light per se but instead an internet telephony light (see the little telephone symbol next to it). It is on when you are on a phone call through to Fritz, or when you are receiving a call, but in no way reflects the internet connection itself.
Hope this helps.
Phexx: Weird thing though, the chorus guy thought the same as me. When he came around to install the VDSL, he looked at the "internet" light and wondered why the internet wasn't working.
I cautiously told him that it seemed to be syncing alright and a quick speedtest seemed to indicate that it was indeed working.
All's working fine though.
