Hey guys,
I was experiencing intermittent access to a particular server at the Orcon DC starting 15 mins ago (from Orcon business p2p fibre in Auckland). It was going really slow so logged into the router there and its super high CPU so presuming a DDoS. Strange thing is it seems either by coincidence or results of the DDoS (or there may not even be a DDoS) that other stuff isn't working at my office which is completely seperate on a different Orcon account. Like the 2talk website, facebook and twitter are all timing out on http connection and ping (sometimes ping responds like once every 10 attempts) yet some parts of geekzone (not all) load fine. Related or anyone else experiencing this?

Yea it was only a 850mbps DDoS apparently (checked with the guy who contols that router). We are all on a shared 100mbps international policy (even though different companies) so that would explain the slow down. In the past its never been an issue but it looks like everything is more properly pooled now on orcon's end.
