Has it always been the case that when calling the voicemail system (456), you are charged at the toll call rate (if outside Christchurch)??

Previous calls to 456 were 0 rated.
New calls seem to be redirected to 03 2600456, however, these are also 0 rated for me (Wellington user here).

Talked to someone from the accounts team and they confirmed that it will be charged as a toll call.
Can any other Auckland users confirm this?

Does this mean that if you have a national calling package it won't be?

Must be an Auckland thing :-)

From Wellington, and for me, it's 0 rated (I have no call packages).

Hi guys,

These calls should be zero rated. If you've been billed for one, can you please PM through your details so we can review your account?

All future calls should be zero rated.

Yup I was charged for 29 calls to 03 2600456 in july and 5 in august but it looks like they fixed the problem onwards so no big deal. (In Auckland)
