For some reason the devices connected to the genius via wifi cannot see the devices connected via cables. (can't even ping the IPs), is there a option to enable this in the admin panel?

Genius Go is the phone app for smartphones - I assume you mean the Genius router itself.

I have no issues with connecting to other devices on the network, wired or wifi. What firmware is your router running ? Have you enabled the second SSID by any chance ?

Haha, yes the Router, not the app.

Second SSID is not enabled, firmware version is Genius1423.

Nope, literally, I have raspberry pi connects to the router via cable, and I have a macbook air connects to the router's wifi, the macbook air just cannot see the raspberry pi, however, if I connect my macbook air via airport express wifi (which connects to the router via cable), it can see the raspberry pi.

Are your "laptop" and your "macbook air" the same thing or two devices?

If two devices, can the macbook see the laptop when the laptop is connected by cable?

Regards FireEngine

Some modems have an option called "Wifi Separation". Can't remember if Genius supports it.

have a look in the wifi section.

Sorry just realised the raspberry pi was connected to the airport express via cable, once I switched it to connect to the Genius router it can be seen by wifi devices (both router and airport express) now.

One thing is quite odd though, I don't know why when it connected to the airport express, only the wifi devices that connected to the airport express can see the raspberry pi.
