In the last couple of days I've been unable to connect to a game server I usually play on in France. I'm sure it's not a problem at Snap's end, but does anyone have any info on this?

I am able to ping the server, but no cigar when I try to connect.

Slightly higher ping from here. What is the game you are trying to connect to?

if you can ping it, its not a routing issue at all, sure your ip isnt blocked on the connecting ports? game server is actually up?

hosting game servers on kimsufi boxes though, thats a new one.. ild suspect you would get better mileage with a closer server.. that latency would be killer.

Pretty sure my IP isn't blocked (wouldn't they ban me instead?). The server is up because I can see it's populated. I would play somewhere more local, but it's an old game and I don't have that luxury.

if you can see the server population, clearly your making a connection to it just fine.. what game would it be?

Hmm, I think it would be the LFS master server which returns the server list and shows the player count.

Sounds to me like a server side error, you should contact the admins of said game.
