Hi all

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I am having problems with my phone with one person only - my Mum. For some reason the connection between our two phones is terrible - but on her end, not mine.
Occasionally I get an echo - but that isn't a problem for me. However on my Mum's end she has trouble hearing me and says it is like talking through water. She often tries hanging up and re-ringing - but it is consistently a problem. She says her phone only acts like this with me - I hear no problems on my end.
We are both using Orcon.
I use Orcon Genius (VOIP) with a Uniden XDECT with two handsets - about 3 years old.

I have tried going through Orcon and have given them her number with permission to discuss the issue with her but know dice. The only thing they have suggested is that I try a different handset - which is impractical as I don't have one, and neither do my friends have one to loan. I also can't see how this could help as the problem is only between our two phones - would be different if it was with every call.

Appreciate any suggestions

Llyvonne

My Mum is on a landline, but uses a digital phone as well. She does not have any issues with any other calls - just with me.

Do you have a ticket # from the helpdesk?  Can you PM me with that (if you have it) along with the details (your username, your number, her number, symptoms, example call times)?

Thanks!
