So recently (i think) we seem to be constantly disconnecting from different and all IRC networks. In the case of freenode, it's as constant as every 20 minutes (Others are every  X minutes as well). I don't notice anything else disconnecting and general browsing seems to be fine.

Is anyone else seeing similar ? It's VERY annoying when I'm active on Freenode and trying to talk! In some channels, i've even been booted out because of the constant SPAM (non-freenode)

Grab a shell account at a host with decent routing/connectivity and install ZNC.

I do have a BNC running, however I like to be able to connect to some networks only sometimes and not manage 5+ different accounts =/

I can understand a disconnect here and there, but multiple times per hour is way too much.

ZNC has a detach function.
