any chance anyone here has a vdsl capable fritz in the new lynn or wider area that i could possibly borrow for all of 10 mins to completly prove to the vision stream techs, that its not only my device that is having issues.
after all my fault has gone thorough, it hasnt been resolved, but marked as closed and resolved on chorus side.
thus making any action hard to get taken, techs keep turning up, plug their modem in for a few seconds, go look, its syncing and leave after an argument that they have not actually looked at the fault at all!
nowhere does it say, unable to sync.
no matter how many times i repeat to them, CRC errors are causing the disconnections, their fix for it was, we will reset your DLM profile. if its not working in 3 hours its your issue to fix. - sure, a DLM-8 profile sounds great!
it was already confirmed earlier in the week that i had a fault in my 049 cable which needs resolving, but since its not noted anywhere, i cant actually see whats happening with that.
if noone is near the area, and would be able to help, no harm i will be seeing if snap cant help out too. i just suspect it would be faster this way...
