Well yeah, as per title, my FritzBox 7390 has lost the ability to negotiate 1000BaseT on three of it's four supposed Gigabit ports. Can't say for sure if they ever worked, but I only noticed it after dicking around all night trying to work out why my FreeNAS server was transferring slower than molasses.

I assume Snap will have no problems replacing the modem, as I only purchased it from them a couple of months ago.

Hidden in the settings somewhere is an option to disable "Green Mode" on the ports and force gigabit speeds. Do this before you do anything else.

Crappy power saving modes can be the fritzbox achilles heel imo, at least this one can be overridden. The wireless is a different story, i've found some devices don't play nice with this and either transfer rates can tank or they will drop entirely. I've found forcing a single band can help a bit though.

Son of a..

Didn't find anything under home network, but found that under System - Energy Monitor is some default setting to have ports 2-4 set as 100Mbps.

Stupid.
