Is there a "cool down period" for how often a credit card can be used to top up prepay accounts? I'm trying to top-up four separate accounts, the first one went through successfully, however the second keeps on being declined. I've tried both online and via the 200 automated service. I think I had this problem 6 months ago when I was trying to top up two accounts at the same time.

If there is a cooldown period, can you tell me how long it is? Is there a way to avoid it? I am currently going into each account individually online to top up, would it be better to use one account and top up the others from the same online service with the "top up another number" feature?

I wonder if you are being affected by a bank security system which is not liking quickly done multiple payments to the same source?

Actually I think the problem is that 2degrees have a daily maximum of $150 per credit card. Going further on their web page it states that restriction on their phone top-up page and on their online top-up page but I would assume the limitation is for all top-ups in general total, rather than for each method. Topping up four accounts with $99 is well more than that limit. Would be nice to get around this, but it's probably not going to be the case.

Aploagies for the topic that I eventually solved myself.

Have you tried calling their customer care and finding out straight from the horses mouth?
