Been on Fibre with xnet for the past 2 years, no issues with anything n thought i would look for a better deal.
Read up on SNAP and thought they had some good deals so I joined up on the 50/20 100GB plan before Christmas.
Naturally the connection of the router via Chorus/Visionstream had a few hiccups but finally connected and thats when the real issues started.
From the most annoying ..............
1- Gmail using Outlook 2010 - Can't send Mail
I've checked the settings, switching it to POP (was on IMAP) even creating a new profile in Win 7
I did notice that SNAP's Outgoing Mail Server Ports: 587 / 465 are the same as Gmail's, could that be the problem?

2- Timeouts, I see someone mentioned that FB pages are loading slow and with some issues

ditto for me and especially when i type searches in the google search box in firefox as well, I have to click on refresh a couple of times for the pages to load, I'no expert so haven't mucked around the settings in the Fritzbox.

3- For some reason, my speeds on Speed Test can range from a high of 48/40 to 9/9 bearing in mind my plan is the 50/20 one. 4- Call Waiting allows you to answer the call but DISCONNECTS the 1st caller and will DISCONNECT the 2nd caller when you try to switch back to the 1st caller.
Rang Support and they asked if they was another phone i could try and i said yes and yip happening on both phones and its turns out according to the Support guy that Uniden phones have a problem and asked if I had another phone...seriously who in this day has 3 different phones in their house! I wasn't very happy at that stage and said I hope they didn't expect me to go and buy a new phone! At this stage, he said he would have to go ask Voice support but they aren't back till Monday..sheeshhhhh
ANNOYING RATING 4/5 I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my contract with them, they have a early termination of $499.00 but the way I see it, they aren't providing the service they said they would.
