Hey, I am wondering if anyone else has had any luck or similar experience of the following with Orcon Genius White aka NetComm NF4V,

- Additional TCP ports of 5431 and 5916 are open on the LAN interface, any use by the ISP for these specifically?
- SIP2/Account 2 - doesn't register by simple settings placed into the web UI. Ideally I'd like Orcon SIP on Acc. 1, another SIP provider on Acc. 2.
- Auto VLAN tagging for the WAN interface. Yes this isn't a cisco series device which supports VTP, but it would be nice so people don't have to add VLAN 10 for VDSL/Fibre if required by the ISP to connect.
- Also a URL on Orcons site to upgrade the firmware (if available)? I'm running the shipped ver. GURNV5.OT132A-8-NC.Orcon-R5B019.EN

I would assume like most big ISP's these days that the device is fully remote provisioned by TR069 so there is no need for end users to touch the firmware - updates can be automatically rolled out by the ISP.

Thanks for the reply, found a way around this and looked up some more info via ssh to the device.

The TCP ports mentioned are known vulnerable ports in certain makes/chipsets - firewall rule to DROP ingress on LAN is a work around.
The SIP account #2, ssh into the device and firebug fixes this if running firefox to edit non-editable fields.

TR69 would solve some of the basic config however but not un-supported/3rd party config.

Indeed it is. Orcon will push firmware as required, just as with Genius ADSL devices.

Second SIP provider isn't supported.

VLAN 10 tagging will be added when the device is reconfigured for UFB.
