I have four kids with phones on 2Degrees prepay, and I'm on a Pay Monthly plan.
Presently, I have to log into each of their Your 2Degrees accounts to check their balance and ascertain when it's time to top up.
It would be useful to have the ability to associate multiple accounts with the one log-in. I'm sure I'm not the only parent looking after multiple prepay accounts. I think this is possible on Vodafone, but don't see any reference to it being possible with 2Degrees.
If I'm right, hopefully this idea could be passed on to an appropriate product manager.

If you have an idevice you could try the consume app as a workaround in the meantime. It was working for me for a while to track multiple 2degrees accounts, but I only have one on there at the moment (another stopped working a while ago, but I never really investigated why as I didn't need to monitor it anymore).

Thanks, I have that app and deleted it as I didn't find it particularly useful. Will get it back and give that a shot.

Hi Jonathan

Thanks for posting.

With a Share Everything plan you can share your unlimited minutes and texts with up to 3 numbers. They can also share your data so there'll be no need to worry about logging into 3 different accounts online to check their balances, just keep an eye on your data balance using - Your 2degrees, the mobile app or the *100# menu.

Share Everything accounts start at $69 per month and 3 of your kids extra accounts will be $20 each per month (if you sign up after 2 March 2014 it's $29 per month). The 4th kid could perhaps share your data?

Alternatively if you have a business or trading name you could sign all 4 under a Business Account and have access to the other three accounts online.

We also have Free Calling Groups probably not exactly what you're asking as it allows 3 different Pay Monthly (not Prepay) accounts under one account.

Hope one of these options help.

Cheers

Thanks for this, I am on Share Everything, but paying $20 for all of them is more than they need, as some of them are major textures and can get by on the $10 texting deal.
Yes, I do run my own company. Can I have prepay accounts under my company name as well as Pay Monthly? If so, that would sort it nicely.

Unfortunately not Jonathan, Business Accounts are not Prepay, but will pass this on to the guys upstairs.

I use an android app called NZ Phone account. It costs about $4 ` 5 but can monitor as many accounts on any NZ carrier as you have space of your screens for..

I have a business account and cannot see my employees avaliable minutes data etc online without login into each individual phone number ... I can however see add on packs they/I I have purchased and those remaining allocations.

Is something not enabled in my account?

How about setting up Auto-Top-Up or a Monthly Auto-Top-Up - http://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/prepay/topping-up/auto-top-up

When the balance hits $2.50 or below it will trigger a text asking the number if they want to top-up. They reply Y for yes and the top-up goes through from your credit card.  You'll just need to be able to trust your kids and they're usage. :\

No it's not a feature we have at the moment, sorry.  It may come into production in the future but we don't have an ETA atm.
