Hi,

I was watching a League of Legends stream on High with about 10k+ viewers last night and it was fine.

Is it happening all the time or a specific time that you are watching it?

snap VDSL, twitch always streams perfectly for me, on source.

theres a little microstudder problem for some people if you use BTTV currently though.

I see slowdown around 6-8PM NZ Time - watching in Best on Telecom VDSL (24/10).

Dropping down to Medium usually ok, sometimes worse.

Not much help sorry.

http://www.twitch.tv/venruki

Can only load low quality, anything else and it has to stop every 5seconds to buffer

edit: high & source quality won't even load either.

Mmm yeah might be a issue at his end.

EDIT: his meaning the streamers end.

only about a 3mbit stream at source, im certainly not buffering at all on source.

looks like its your side, or maybe with your fiber node..

Yeah I think its def something on my end, used to be able to watch 2-3 at a time on source without any kind of lag... now I'm stuck on low quality...

Terrible pings to US aswel... Can't game unless its past 7pm.
Can't be bothered spending 1-2hours on hold waiting for snap though :/ been there done that enough

although its highly unlikely on a 100/50.. connection saturation?

watched throughout the arena battle, went up to 3.5mbit average but still next to nothing. should be able to stream that easy...

On snap VDSL and I have no problems watching twitch.tv.
I just tried watching the venruki linked above and there were no issues on source quality.

Is there anyway of getting snap to look at my connection without spending an hour on hold?

These hold times are ridiculous.

Have you rebooted your router?

If not. Turn both your ONT and Fritz!Box off and wait a minute or two then start them both up. Renewing your connection will often fix problems like that.

As for the 'on hold' times - select accounts as your option when ringing- they always answer their phone - and they'll redirect your call.

The on hold times are pretty steep some times and this is where I must say that World Exchange beats them hands down (and all the other ISP's/Telco's ) The customer service at WxC is second to none
