So, I'm wanting to switch to Telecom (but keeping many number) for their 4G data.

However I really do love 2D, and have been with them for a few years with no issues whatsoever.

I know there were talks about 4G and 2D, but not sure what the progress is on that and I'm rather impatient so.. I decided I wanna move until they roll out 4G.

Question is, would I be able to bring my number back with me once 2D gets 4G up and running? Or is there a limitation to how many times you could port a number between carriers? D:

No limit.

But based on whispers I've been hearing the 2D launch is now very close.

I have changed my number between 2degrees, Telecom and Skinny about 5 times in under a year with no problems.

Just curious as to why the high number of changes between providers?  Is this driven by the product offerings or locations in which you live/work/play? How much saving do you think you have made by chasing the best product offers?

I was originally on 2degrees and changed to Telecom because I found their data faster. I then found out my phone was broken and didn't work properly on 3g so i changed back to 2degrees so i would have reception at least for calling and texting on 2g. when i got a new phone i changed to skinny because they had better deals but i had a few problems with skinny and changed back to 2degrees.
