Hi guys

Just randomly started happening while I was off at work today (so came home to it).. connection is basically failing with the following error. despite noone touching the router.


 

 

 

 

 

 

daemon

 

err

 

syslog: User name and password authentication failed.

Hi - I've reset your connection from the host end, can you power cycle the Netcomm? Our Provisioning team made some changes on your account but I'll need to check with them on Thursday to see if they were implicated. Hopefully the reset will bring stability back.

I've given it a power cycle. Sadly the same error is showing up. Buggers (these things happen)

 

Yeah I noticed a couple of changes to the account a couple of days ago but as it was all working I didn't think much of it.

Hmmm, it was late so employed bigger stick at the Orcon end (auth reset), and bigger stick at density's end (factory reset of the cpe), spoke to density, all online now so I'll follow up with the Prov team to understand where the auth wrinkle came from....

....and your usage is recording correctly now :-) Moot as you are on Unlimited but nice to have all ducks lined up neatly nevertheless.
