recently, about 20 days ago, i had my internet fixed because of some faulty piece of equipment broke, now it has returned to its horrible state, even going on geekzone might be asking for too much from it, have tried multiple routers because im using a diffrent one to which orcon sent me, to no avail.

So the first tech said he dug up and fixed your 049 cable, line test is now failing indicating a disconnect at the exchange, I've asked the Assurance team to roll you another tech to resolve that.

So just to be clear, this wasn't slow speeds on the network, but rather a disconnect at your local exchange, unfortunate that it happened so close to a previous fault, at least FireEngine has sorted it for you though :)
