Hi Everyone,

I recently needed to have my Genius router replaced.   Orcon sent out a new router and handset.   To date I have not actually used the handset as we tend to use the two Panasonic handsets we have connected.

We are experiencing poor voice quality on the Genius system at present, and as part of fault tracking, I disconnected the Panosonic phones and tried the Genius handset, only to find it was not talking to the router.   I can't seem to find a way to get the two to talk.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Have you charged the battery in the handset (by attaching it to the Genius for several hours)?

Hmmm. No, can't say I did. Just plugged the handset and it's cradle in out in its usual spot in the kitchen...
