Something went bang for 10 minutes?

International was basically unnusable, trace to www.snap.net.nz was high and had massive packet loss. Wasn't just me before anyone asks, was an issue for multiple snap users.

Seems to have just come back to life without any network status updates however.

Seeing packet loss at about 25% to Europe at the moment. Sucks cause I need to work with Europe now.

Latency to Sydney BF4 servers is 40-50ms higher than normal for me.

Hi All,

There was a DDOS attack which caused latency issues across some core links, impacted around 30% of users - its been resolved now. There has been a real increase in DDOS lately!

Thanks,
TheRalph

I assume it must have been overwhelming some access handover links :\ Was getting major packet loss to the DNS servers which are usually pretty bulletproof

Ah I thought it was just me. I rebooted my router and everything came right, but timing must have been coincidental.
