First post for a while so bear with me.
All of a sudden on Saturday morning my internet\phone died. I have a new fibre connection (2 weeks old) with Huawei ont and fritzbox. I have made the appropriate escalations with Snap and am waiting to hear from the tech's (Downer's) to come out, which will cost me $270 if the tech finds no issue with their equipment. Nothing has changed from my end it is a new house and the fibre is all in conduit right up to the fibre termination point (ftp).
What i am trying to find out is has anyone else had a problem where their fibre connection just stops, and did you get charged $270 from Snap. Symptoms:
Power solid green
LOS led on ONT flashing red
PON led no light
LAN1 led solid green
No visible light coming down the fibre out of the ftp (can't actually remeber if i could see this when in was working).
