Hi everyone!

A few years ago we signed up to Slingshot and had nothing but problems. We can't get ADSL here. Only dial-up. Well we signed up and that was good, but there was constant interruptions in the dial-up service.

A few years later and we are moving house (don't know where yet but I would like a place with VDSL) and it looks like Slingshot is the cheapest.

So anyone who has Slingshot VDSL, what is your experiences?

Thanks!

Some will say you get what you pay for...But I think Slingshot is awesome.  I can't say much for their VDSL service, but their ADSL service has been fantastic so far.  Others will tell you not to go anywhere near them.  It's a mixed bag with any ISP.  There are always going to be those with problems and those without.

9 times out of 10, your problems will be something to do with your house wiring, equipment or a network wide outage that all service providers suffer from.

I say give it a go.

OK, will do. It wasn't the wiring at the house though. It would always just say the incorrect password. So I'd have to ring up, change it and then it'd work again. At the end I ran out of passwords and me and mum agreed to change provider.

Been using SS VDSL since it was released.

Have had no complaints about the service.
Customer service is good too.

Definitely been on the upward trend since the other year.

Dedicated call centre staff get trained up really well and then leave for greener pastures.  Slingshot is then left with the new comers who want to bridge a gap between opportunities and rarely care about the effort.  The load on the call centre changes with this trend also.  I rarely ever have to call...Unless chorus decides my working phone line is broken and "fixes" it for me.
