I tried to find if and when the 2GB Bonus data are applied when I change from a carryover plan to a carryover(BYO) plan. I could not find anything which would give info if this applies to new customers only or if existing ones are eligible as well. The confusion arrises because I changed my plan on the web portal and it will be changed on my next billing date, which is th 4th of May. Now the website states that you have to sign-up before the 4th of May to be eligible. So, technically, I signed up before that but practically I'm only joining the plan on the 4th of May and could just be missing out..... undecided

When I asked a 2Degrees CSR whether the 2GB data offer applied to existing customers changing plans, I was told it was for new customers only. Hopefully, they were wrong, but doubling  existing data from 0.5GB to 1GB is still awesome.

Ohh yes, dont' get me wront, it is an awesome deal and definitely well worth changing. I just wish they would have made it a bit clearer. Previously, they referred you to the T&C but in this case there is absolutely nothing.....  The way it is advertised it very confusing.

I changed from a grandfathered plan to the new plan and got the 2GB added today, it did it automatically, and texted me.

How and when did you change? Did you do it yourself or ring up 2degrees? I did my change last week, Monday or Tuesday I think, but I didn't receive any extra data.cry

My plan doesn't switch over until the 26th April, so will be interesting to see if this happens. I switched over online.

Is this 2GB per month ongoing or just a one off data credit?

JFI?  I switched from a $29 carryover to the $29 Freedom on the 4/4 - should I have got this?

This is exactly my point. Its not defined anywhere and I changed last week, but still didn't get the 2GB Bonusdata. At no point it is mentioned anywhere that only new customers would get it. It only states that if you sign up before 4th May you will get it.

And unfortunately it is as I expected, nobody really knows how this promo works.

I did the change through the web in April and on 4th of May I was changed over to the new freedom plan. However, there was no 2GB Bonus data, despite this being advertised. After phoning 2degrees the CSR said it's only for new customers....
I'm just wondering where that information is coming from because I could not find anything which mentioned it is for new customers only. And reading through the answers here it really seems that it is just the luck of the draw, you might get it or, like in my case, not.
Please read the statement above. If this is not misleading advertisement then I don't know what is.

Why does it seem to be so difficult these days to write things down in plain English which everybody understands and knows the meaning.
