I have had it on mine early after it was released using the CSC trick, there wasn't alot in it for existing devices I think really we should be concentrating on being on their case for the 8.1 update which hopefully should only be a month or two away, currently running the developer preview for 8.1 at the moment and it is simply brilliant

what csc did you set it to to get the update?
Everything I have read says ATO, but my phone does not have ATO.

You could just sign up as a developer and get the 8.1 preview if you not afraid of a few bugs - http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/mobile-phone/3511925/how-download-windows-phone-81-cortana/

I've installed it on my Lumia 925 without any issues. Runs really well, no bugs noticed so far.

Not so keen to do that yet. Samsungs seem to be pretty buggy on the developer preview software. May take that route as a last resort, but would rather it came officially with the Samsung firmware updates too.

Cheers Nathan and everyone for the help.
Changed CSC to AUsomething (first one on the list) just to see what happened, hard reset, loaded up and it downloaded GDR3, just leaving it on that csc for now as it does not seem to break anything and it is working well.
