I'm on Snap VDSL with a Fritzbox 7390 on 06.06

I can no longer connect to my seedbox FTP but I can connect when I go via a VPN so it looks like a problem with either snap or my modem.

The connection log for the FTP passes authentication but then times out.

Command: USER **************
Response: 331 Please specify the password.
Command: PASS **************
Response: 230 Login successful.
Command: SYST
Response: 215 UNIX Type: L8
Command: FEAT
Response: 211-Features:
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

Any ideas?

I can FTP to my USA server. If you want PM me the IP and I can see if I can connect. Wellington/Fibre.

I can connect and authenticate but just cant do anything from there. Thanks for the offer though.

Pretty sure I have IPv6 switched off but I'll double check.

Create a user if you want me to try an actual upload. If you can connect I seriously doubt it's a Snap issue, suggest looking at the server logs.

ild bet its on your providers side.

your ftp log infers your running standard FTP?

my machines are all soild with their FTP, infact im currently pegged at 7MB/s on a download.

whos your provider? it looks like you may have trimmed a bit of that log too(not refering to the authentication details.)..

All back up and running now, no change at this end must have been gremlins.
