Hi Everyone,

Last I heard, 2degrees network only supported 300kB mms size limit. I'm curious if anyone knows if that is still the case, and if there are any plans to up the limit if so? Especially with the 4G rollout now underway.

Another query, anyone know anything about fast dormancy support being implemented on the 2degrees 4G or 3G network?

Cheers

The limit is still 300KB, and it still costs 50c/message. LTE makes no difference, as the radio resource is not the expensive bit.

To be honest: use email, iMessage, WhatsApp, Google Hangouts, Viber or whatever other service you and your friends have in common.

Thanks for the update. I usually do use data alternatives, but sometimes it's just an easy way to send a quick message to someone who doesn't use any other services (e.g grandparents!). I just find it kind of annoying since it just fails, but I think it still seems to charge you?

Anyone know about fast dormancy?

Yes, it charges you for the attempt, not the actual delivery.
