Hello,
Am away staying with relatives and having trouble sending email, receiving is ok. They are with Vodafone.
Please help, do i need to change settings somewhere?

Your outbound SMTP settings will be the issue. Are you getting relay denied?

Yes correct

Server error: '554 5.7.1 Relaying denied'

You would either need to change your smtp settings to the authenticated settings for your original ISP or change it to smtp.vodafone.co.nz on port25 if my memory serves me correctly.

My Pleasure. Don't forget to change them back to whatever they were before, when you return home. You should find out from your ISP if they offer an authenticated email offering as this means you wouldn't need to change these settings when you move around. 

Hopefully you kept a record of what you removed before you changed them :)

Follow the instructions for your mail client software

Slingshot Email Help

and make sure you enter the username and password details on the outgoing server settings.
