Quick question (primarily for the Orcon guys.  But most should benefit from the answer!):

What is the lifetime of the prefex delegation?  More simplistically I mean could they be considered permanent and will not change?

What options are answered (or rather set) from the delegating router?
IE: nexthop options, ntp-server, sip-server, time-zone, fqdn, dns-server, etc

Forgot to mention, my prefix renewal time currently sits at a 480 day expiry :)

I fix stuff!

Aslong as you remain on the same BNG (ie don't move change address and move to a different region) it will remain permanent. if you turn your modem off for > 8 days however, you risk losing the prefix.

however it could change if there is a fault condition and operation staff change your connection to a different BNG.

As for the options set. We currently only setting next-hop currently. We are not delegating ipv6 DNS/NTP servers yet.

Thanks.  That would be why my DHCPv6 option requests aren't being fulfilled :)

The lifetime also dictates how simple I make my config (or not).

No that it's important anymore, but it's an 8 Day expiry sorry!  I forgot to divide by a further 60 :)
