are slingshot any closer to rolling out IPv6 yet?

i see orcon are.

i volunteer to test it whenever you do start testing!

i use a tunnel service right now but its slow and generally just times out :(

It's been a few months now and I'm wondering if anyone has heard if Slingshot have enabled IPv6 yet?

I'm looking at swapping providers soon, and I've been doing a bit of testing with web services and IPv6 lately, so would be good if Slingshot have it...?

I would take by the lack of reply from Slingshot that the answer is "no", otherwise they'd likely be shouting it from the roof tops already.

Bummer. Won't be changing ISP Any time soon then. Will stick with Snap!

For 99% of internet users, IPV6 means nothing.

I'd go as far as suggesting 5 years from now that IPV6 adoption in NZ won't be much higher than it is now. Why? Because there is no shortage of IP addresses in NZ, and for many ISPs there is no need to offer IPV6 services. Dual stack CG-NAT/IPV6 makes sense for mobile and mobile will be a growth area for IPV6, but for fixed broadband it's something that building a business case for it is very difficult.
