So it looks like Slingshot's new naked plans are up and available on their website in the below links. They are looking competitively priced.

Naked ADSL

- $55 for 80GB.
- $75 for Unlimited.

Naked VDSL

- $65 for 80GB.
- $85 for Unlimited.

All plans come with Global Mode, Rollover Data, MEGA 500GB account and a Modem for $20. (Modem offer for new customers only).

What does everyone think of these new plans? Worth the wait?

will slingshot be applying this pricing to all existing customers?

Often telcos don't do that, and offer the excuse of "not everything is better about this plan, so we can't shift people to newer plans automatically that might be worse"
But as far as I can see these plans are not worse in any way, and are in fact just the same plans as before but just with lower pricing.

Even if they don't aplpy it auotmatically, this is going to cost Slingshot a pretty penny from all their existing customers that see it and downgrade.
But I guess when you have VF/Telecom doing crazy pricing along the same lines (albeit with an enforced mobile bundle) Slingshot felt they have to respond or miss out.

Yes, fast spotting, the new plans went up this afternoon.
Existing customers are more than welcome to move to them.

EDIT: New contract won't apply - you can just move to the plan you are after (so long as it's the same technology type i.e. ADSL to ADSL, VDSL to VDSL).

Just called slingshot to move to the new pricing. Already on 90 naked adsl.

Was reassured by rep I can still keep the italk no. But he said there is a new 12 mnoths contract which I think is incorrect.

just trying to figure out how Italk fits into these new naked plans?

do you stilll get the basic ($11) italk plan included or do you have to shell out $11 on top?
