Hi

Had fibre connected a few weeks back (Shirley, Chch). Was working fine initially then got a message from Snap to call re setting some stuff up.
When I got back to them they said that they needed to Migrate me over to something or other. This involved them accessing my modem (which needed a firmware update) and an hour or so later it was done.
My phone now works but Google is driving me nuts. I start typing and after the first word or so it stops suggesting, I type the full sentence, hit enter and wait for 10-30+ seconds for a response. There is no sign anything is happening in this time.

On 100/50 unlimited.

Cheers.

Interesting. I am on Snap and had Google problems (gmail etc.) with my wife's PC. My PC, the two tablets, and smart phones were all fine.

Disabling IPV6 fixed the problem though.

sounds indeed like your having IPv6 issues..

it is odd that some people get it, while others dont.

personally my IPv6 data goes perfectly.

Definitely try disabling IPv6 on either your Fritz Box or client computers. I have the exact same issue with Google searches you are describing and falling back to IPv4 fixes it.
