Hi Guys,

Im on VDSL.

I see that my firmware on the fritz box 7390 is on firmware 06.03 and I see there is a update for 06.06.

Should I update to that version via live update or should I get the file and do a offline update?

Cheers

Doesn't look like a major change

New with FRITZ!OS 6.06:
-DSL: fixes a problem, that could cause certain line cards to crash when changing settings in the FRITZ!Box
-DSL: fixes a problem with bandplan 997
-system: general stability improved

It's not a major change, but both of those fixes are directly applicable here in NZ. We're one of the few countries still using bandplan 997, and I've personally had a line card crash because of my 7390. It's not great when Chorus have to send a tech to the cabinet to physically reboot the card because it's not responding.

I'd recommend doing the update. The online method works just fine for me, and I've used it a couple of times now. Just export your config first, I'm case something happens to go wrong.
