Have an old established site on Iserve's windows server that stopped serving Sunday - is anyone else having any problems with theirs please?

Nothing widespread that I am aware of, do you have a ticket number already?

They have been having problems with their Windows server.  Took me 3 days to get a response out of them, (wouldn't answer the phone or emails) but they finally restored the website to get it working again.

Thanks John, ours got fixed by close of business Monday.  Perhaps Fireman could tell us what the problem was.  It was obvious that there was a problem with the sites not resolving so would be good to get some feedback.

Bad to hear they wouldn't answer their phone or emails - it's a shame their service has got to such low levels.

Please don't mistake long wait times on phone and email for the team not working flat out. Unfortunately that team has been badly stretched of late and a number of the platforms have given issues. (which the front-line team don't themselves support).

I'll push the relevant team for answers Monday.

It's been like that (Staff Stretched) since before Orcon took them over. Surely when a problem is ongoing for that long, the appropriate way to resolve it is to throw more resources at it, or fix the underlying reason for the issues in the first place.

It's not really the Orcon way to think that way unfortunately in my experience.
