I have slingshot internet with a netgear dgn2200 modem/router and while playing clash of clans on my galaxy s5 via the wifi, it constantly disconnects me. While connected to 4g data network I dont have this problem and dont have this problem connected to other peoples wifi networks. I have also tried 2 other modems and they do the same so it cant be a modem problem

Any help will be appreciated

your post seems to be missing a bit of context.

few things to look at, are you loosing DSL sync or a simply wifi dropping out?

is there heavy traffic going on elsewhere at the same time?

Sorry bout that I clicked enter before typing the rest haha

The dsl light on the modem is constant green, as for wifi dropping out I cant say that it is because I have no problem browsing the web its only disconnecting when playing this game

There is no other traffic

ild say webbrowsing simply is more forgiving to a wireless drop.

i find it with youtube, often the app wont be very forgiving, and you will need to restart the video stream.

try changing the channel your wireless runs on, see if it makes a difference, ild try 1, 6 or 11.

Thanks for the tip but I have tried changing the wireless channel to every different option and still have the same problem. Happens of my girlfriends iphone 4s playing the same game

I dont know what else to do :(

are you running on 40mhz or 20mhz mode?

if your on 40, try switching out to 20

Hi. I assume by that your talking about the speed of the wifi. I have tried this being set at 150 and 300 and still the same problem. I am still stumped

it sounds very much like its nothing todo with your dsl at all, but your wireless or devices your using.

if your unsure though, may aswell put a call in, talk to their support, get them to check if your loosing sync.
